E-Books Here are links to sites that provide free e-books--text that is the same as or similar to a book offered in electronic form. Some may require the download of special software, which should be noted on the site where you download it. Since I don't have time to read all of these wonderful works, none are rated.
An Introduction To E-Cookbooks VJJE Publishing
- This is the first e-cookbook I've seen, and it looks like a pretty good publication. There is a huge variety of recipes and the book is very detailed. However, I would imagine that it might have been better if there were some pictures to go along with the text.
Beginnings and Transitions Joey
- The link above will allow you to download the book directly. The author says: "Relive the giggling and pouting of childhood in 'Beginnings' and your mixed-up teenage years in 'Transitions', the two earliest chapters in poetry and prose by Joey."
Credit Secrets 2002 Tom Hua
- Here is the description the distributor provides:
"Credit Secrets used by Celebrities.
For anyone - with Good or Bad Credit. Valuable Techniques to improve your Credit Rating. Legal Completely Free Process. Monthly Free Software. Great Financial Resource to share with others!" From browsing over the book, it looks like there are some useful hints in the book.
It's worth pointing out that you need to enter your e-mail address to join their newsletter to gain access to the download link.
Free Wedding Planning Ebook
- This e-book offers information about how to save money while planning a wedding. It mainly seems to focus on tips for getting good prices and selecting quality products. The website giving away the e-book requires that you sign up for one of the free trial offers advertised on their website.
Internet Business Beginners' Guide Zac Hewlett
- Personally, I didn't feel like this book shared any highly valuable secrets. However, if you're looking for a nice introduction to the world of personal Internet businesses, this book might be worth taking a look at.
Living off the Internet Matt Perdeck
- One of the many free online marketing e-books out there, this one sets itself apart by not pushing too many affiliate programs from the book itself (with the exception of the "save money" section, which is pretty much just a list of shopping sites). I think this is one of the best overviews of how to enroll in and promote affiliate programs that I've seen; only one reference to how you could possibly, through some twist of fate, become a millionaire, and a logical, step-by-step approach to setting up a website. All things considered, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a straightforward introduction to the world of developing and marketing websites.
Stop Smoking - Break the Chains Mark Jordan
- The author of this book calls it "a free instantly downloadable highly regarded guide for those who wish to stop smoking". Note that the download is only available in Microsoft Word format.
Vision N. D. Hansen-Hill
- This looks like a pretty good ebook - here is the description the author provided:
"Dustin Mallory is a man trapped by the past - on a daily basis. He is no more a victim than his friends, whose reach at times extends beyond the grave, or whose thoughts take unwanted strolls through other people’s minds. If the past can come forward enough to taunt Mallory’s present, is there a chance he can influence it? Alter a fate that’s too harsh to accept? Or will he spend the rest of his life hovering between reality and revelation? Dependent on strangers for his personal salvation? It is what he now fears most - that he has no future. That he’ll become a victim of his own aberrant genes, to spend his days forever lost in visions..."
Value Based Internet Marketing - Real Marketing in a Connected World Duane Zoscin
- The site where I downloaded this book claims that it tells you about real world marketing principles that can give you advantages over competition. The book itself doesn't seem to be too marvelous, however.
Ebooksdeal Free Webmaster Rebrandble Tools
- Webmasters: Do you know how to create a HTML mail to link on your webpages? If not, you probably use either a professional editing program or need to enroll in Web Design 101. There are several e-books on this page related to creating web sites for affiliate programs, but it doesn't look like the e-books are too useful for most webmasters (with the possible exceptions of HTML Encryptor and How to avoid your visitors from hijacking your affiliate commissions). However, you may take these e-books and redistribute them on your own site with your own Clickbank ID, which means that the books might be very useful even if they don't teach you anything.
33 Days to Online Profits Yanik Silver and Jim Edwards
- Another one of the e-books detailing how to get-rich-quick using the Internet, 33 Days to Online Profits does have many insights, although to be honest I think that most people who try the techniques detailed in the e-book will only be wasting their time. I really don't think that anyone can seriously start much of a business in just 33 days, much less an incredibly profitable online one. Download it if the title really grabs you, but be forewarned that very few people have ridden e-commerce to amazing success on a personal level.
Baen Free Library
- This is a massive collection of free e-books available for download. While I've never heard of most of the books or authors (not that I'm exactly an avid reader), there is definitely some quality literature available. The books are available either as webpages or in a variety of downloadable formats.
Richard W. Carlson Jr.-Children's & Romance Book Author
- HugsFeelGood.com is the site of a ebook author, Richard Carlson, who offers some of his books in Acrobat Reader format. The five ebooks are either for children, love stories, or about his brother who has autism.
