Keep in mind that all these sites are looking for something in return from you - usually some personal information for marketing - although sometimes contests are offered simply to get more traffic coming through their sites.

• This website is giving away a free weeklong trip to Japan valued at approximately $10,500. The contest runs through the end of 2004, and you must be 18 to enter.

• A prize of $500 is being given away every month by the Friendly Download Center. There are a few miscellaneous questions on the entry form, although the contest appears to be legitimate. The contest is only open to Americans and Canadians.

• This website offers prizes for playing web-based bingo games. Unlike some other sweepstakes, this website requires you to play its games in order to win its prizes. However, there are few entry requirements.

• This website is giving away a free camcorder every month until 2005. The entry form is fairly straightforward, although they ask that you review a website for inclusion into their directory. The contest is only open to Americans and Canadians.
  
  Diamond Stud Earring Giveaway Rating: 9/10
  
• Here is one of the more valuable prizes that you will find in the world of online sweepstakes. However, you must submit a lot of personal information to be considered for the giveaway, and there is no definate date for when the drawing will occur (according to their official rules, the winner will be selected when "150,000 entries are received". The contest is only open to US residents over the age of 18.

• This has to be the only website around that offers you the chance to win a free crossbow or Celtic flame sword. You have the chance to choose between one of three types of mediveal weapons. All you have to enter is your name, age, and e-mail address. You have to be 18 to enter, although there are no geographical restrictions.
  
  Great American Style Beef Jerkey Rating: 8/10
  
• You could win $80 worth of Great American beef jerkey by filling out a form on their site. The drawings are held monthly, although you can enter once per day. You have to have a US address to win. ShirtWholesaler.com Rating: 9/10
  
• A contest from a t-shirt wholesale site that offers 3 t-shirts. It appears that there are no age restrictions, and that it's international.

• Here is the best free CD giveaway website that I've seen. They give away CDs to Americans and Canadians on a weekly basis. Considering that the site has very little link popularity, there are probably not too many entrants and thus you may have a decent chance of winning. You have to be "of legal age of majority" to win.

• This contest is for free Caribbean Blue suncare products. There is a total of five prizes, including a grand prize that consists of a variety of their products. There are no geographic or age restrictions on who can enter.

• If you're musically inclined and would like to have the chance to win some free CDs, you should check out freecdgiveaways.com. There were contests for five different CDs when I reviewed the site. It looks pretty easy to enter the contests; all you have to enter is your name, e-mail address, age, and sex. They require that you be 16 to enter, although the contests appear to be international.

• You could have an opportunity to win a printer every month if you sign up for this website's newsletter. However, you have to stay subscribed to their newsletter to be able to win. No age requirement is listed, although you do have to be an US or Canada resident.

• This registration-based site offers cash prizes for playing their online game. There are no age or location restrictions.

• This website gives away a brewing related prize every month. You have to be a US resident to enter, and you can only enter once per e-mail address. The prize isn't spectacular, but I would assume that you probably have a decent chance of winning.

• A small website featuring links to free sweepstakes from across the Internet. Most of the excellently selected links are provided by OnResponse, WebSponsors and Commission Junction. It looks like they also have a newsletter.

• There are a few fundamental concerns about this contest. First, the prize isn't worth much - promotional cheap hotel vouchers are availalbe for next to nothing. Secondly, the contest is only open to US residents over 21 years of age. Finally, I didn't see a privacy policy on their site. Winners are chosen monthly.
  
  Free Dehydrated Water Sample Rating: 3/10
  
• Wow... this website gives you the opportunity to win free water. They're not just giving away any type of water, though. They are giving away samples (sample-sized, I assume) of dehydrated water (whatever that is?) to one "lucky" person every day. Typically, "samples" are given to anyone who requests one, but this website apparently thinks that you should have to win a little, single sample.
