Free Redirection URLs
This page features the many services that will provide fake "redirection" URLs that point to your
website hosted by a free webspace provider.
Free-Url-Redirection.com.ru
- This website does not offer any free URL redirection services itself, but they do give a good overview of the different services available out there.
FreeRegistration.tk Rating: 10/10
- When I first started looking into how to build a website for free, one of the things that I desperately wanted was a free top-level domain. There is simply no substitute for a top-level domain when promoting a website. FreeRegistration.tk allows you to obtain a .tk domain name for free. The .tk service works as a redirection URL (i.e. you don't get to host the domain yourself for free). In addition, there is a pop-up banner ad every time your .tk addresses is accessed. Despite these drawbacks, a free top-level domain is a great opportunity.
kickme.to Rating: 10/10
- Kickme.to has 138 domains available for you to use in building your website. There are no ads included with your URL redirection from kickme.to.
Active.ws Rating: 10/10
- Here is a subdomain redirection site that looks to be perfect in every way: no ads, a good selection of domains, visitor statistics, path forwarding and even e-mail forwarding! This is definitely one of the best URL redirection services available.
URL-Redirection.com Rating: 9/10
- This is one of the better URL redirection services I have seen. Their services are ad-free, even if their choice of domains isn't the best.
WebZone Resources Rating: 9/10
- Subdoamins at wzr.net without advertising. Free e-mail also available.
CJB.NET Rating: 9/10
- A popular URL redirection service, CJB.NET offers ad free URL redirection, URL cloaking and other quality features.
Namezero Rating: 9/10
-
An incredible value! A $18 domain name for your site... for FREE! If it seems too good to be true,
it usually is though. They display advertising in a frame with your domain, as well as hosting your e-mail.
Just.as Rating: 8/10
- They will provide you with a redirection URL at one of a lot of domains. You get both a subdomain and a URL like just.as/you.
webmask.com Rating: 8/10
- This service looks like a pretty good overall, I dont see anything that stands out about it.
Zarr URL Redirection Rating: 7/10
-
The benefits of this service are that it does not flash pop-up ads at your visitors and the redirection URLs are created instantly without excessive configuration. However, it produces an awkward, albeit short, URL that has very little to do with the actual content of your site.
.com-2 Rating: 7/10
-
While this service only has one domain, .com-2.net, they do offer real subdomains and they allow you to add domains beneath your subdomains. They also claim to offer links to useful free resources.
2go.it Rating: 7/10
-
Free URL forwarding at five .it domains like http://www.2go.it/yourname. This service looks farily average.
9gif.com Rating: 6/10
- There is a pop-up/frame with this service and I really don't understand why anyone would want a subdomain at 9gif.com.
